The New York-based company said Golden will oversee the fashion lifestyle, motherhood, and Marquee Brands connect divisions, in a "newly created position devised to optimize and accelerate business growth opportunities," according to a press release.

In his new role, Golden will report to CEO Neil Fiske, who took on the top spot at the acquisition and accelerator company as CEO in September, 2020.

A brand and retail veteran, Golden comes to Marquee Brands from Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA), where he most recently served as EVP, chief financial and strategy officer of Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA).

Prior to that, he served as the company's CFO, after a stint as EVP, chief strategy officer of RAA, spearheading the acquisitions of the Haggar and Tribal brands, and a significant ownership stake in Moss Bros. He was also president of Randa digital labs.

Before Randa, the executive served as president, Americas for Bendon Group, and served eight years at Hampshire Group, where he joined as vice president of business development, before serving over three-and-a-half years as president and chief executive officer.

Owned by investor funds managed by Neuberger Berman, Marquee Brands is a global brand owner, marketer, and media company whose portfolio includes Martha Stewart, The BCBG Group, Ben Sherman, Dakine, Sur La Table, Body Glove, Emeril Lagasse, Motherhood Maternity, A Pea in a Pod, and Bruno Magli.
