Massimo Dutti opens in the United States

Spanish group Inditex has opened its first Massimo Dutti store in the United States on New York’s 5th Avenue. The opening of the store also marks the arrival of the e-store which is available in all 5 states.

Situated on the corner of 5th Avenue and 54th Street, this new location is also the brands biggest concept store, measuring 13,600 square ft and spanning across three floors. The American flagship’s will be 124 feet long and will employ 250 people.
The brand is using this occasion to introduce its new concept stores. “Massimo Dutti’s new image is in line with the development of the brand,” explains Inditex. “Walnut, brass, leather and black marble are the main materials used to give a real atmosphere to the store. The new design really plays on modern lines and classic accents.”
Massimo Dutti is currently sold in 58 countries in Europe, Asia and America wityh a total of 600 stores. The brand is owned by the group Inditex who also own Zara, Pull & Bear and Stradivarius. In 2011 the group saw sales rise 10%, reaching 13.7 billion euros.
