Millennials are mobile commerce trendsetters

(Relaxnews) - Over one third of young adults in the US are already shopping regularly via smartphone and are moving more and more to mobile.
According to IBM, even during Thanksgiving Weekend, less than 25% of all online sales in the US were conducted by a smartphone or tablet.
However, a new report from Social Lens Research shows that 35% of Millennials are becoming smartphone-centric when it comes to shopping and 91% of of that number say that they're making purchases at least once a month, while one in three spend over $50 a month.
The study, published this week, surveyed 1,216 young adults in the US between the ages of 18 and 34 who are members of the MocoSpace mobile gaming community.
