Missguided is ramping up its contact-free collection drive with an InPost locker ‘takeover’ in the run-up to Christmas and beyond.

It means 180 InPost lockers are being rebranded with Missguided branding and imagery in the period. And as well as being a convenient delivery/returns option, lockers also very visibly put the label in front of shoppers who are collecting parcels, whether they come from the brand or one of its rivals.

The two companies are aiming “to raise awareness amongst customers of the safe, contact-free delivery and return option of lockers” that offer 24/7 access.

Missguided said that with this year being very different from others, the link-up is a key one. It said consumers will be seeking “ultra convenience” in a season where concerns have been expressed over the ability of e-tailers to get parcels to customers on time in the face of surging demand.

And it also said that lockers are “a low-risk way to collect and return goods over the busy peak period” with many customers “preferring to avoid post offices and busy collection points”.
