Moss Bros in Peaky Blinders stage show link-up

Moss Bros has launched a collaboration that syncs perfectly with its tailoring speciality and has linked up with Peaky Blinders: The Rise, “an immersive theatrical show that places audiences in the heart of one of the world’s most popular TV series”.

Just opened in London at Camden Garrison, it takes one of the most popular and influential UK TV shows of recent years and turns it into something that fans can engage with and that has the potential to become a long-running event.

Working with Peaky Blinders’ creator Steven Knight and Caryn Mandabach Productions, Moss Bros said the audience, who are also “participants, get dressed up in their sharpest looks for an immersive experience in Tommy Shelby’s world; with live sets, unmissable character interactions and competitive game play to ultimately determine whether Tommy Shelby and his family succeed in their ambition to take London”.

The link-up makes commercial sense for the retailer that said it saw sales of flat caps and tweed three-pieces soar as the TV show aired, and that post-pandemic, “a more formal, gentlemanly style of dressing continues to inspire menswear for the season”.

Audiences are getting dressed up to attend the interactive show and the Moss Bros link could make this a good marketing opportunity for the retail brand.

The company has dressed cast members and bartenders at the venue and said it’s “ready to dress people who are attending the immersive event, with their biggest ever offering in ready-to-wear and custom-made styles. From tweed and plain woollen weaves to modern checks, herringbone patterns and Donegal style flecks”.
