Lisa Bridgett starts work this week with the Net-a-Porter group, assigned with the task of managing the company's sales and marketing. She will report directly to the website’s managing director, Alison Loehnis, who formerly had filled Bridgett's position before being promoted to managing director in January 2012.

In her new role, Lisa Bridgett will oversee sales and marketing strategies for the Net-a-Porter site. Previously, she ran digital marketing and e-commerce activity for Ralph Lauren Europe, which included the launch of three separate e-shops for the group.

And prior that job, this native of South Africa was global director of digital marketing at EMI Music. Such experience in different strata of e-commerce and digital marketing are a good fit with the ambitions of the luxury e-shop group led by Mark Sebba (CEO) and Nathalie Massenet (Executive Chairman).
