Tommy Hilfiger, Monica Vinader and L’Occitane are some of the latest fashion and beauty brands to sign up for stores in the new Broadgate development ahead of the grand opening this summer.

100 Liverpool Street has attracted a line-up of premium brands ahead of its opening - British Land

The brands will open at 100 Liverpool Street, which is part of the new Broadgate neighbourhood in London. Designed by Hopkins Architects with a focus on technology, sustainability and wellbeing, 100 Liverpool Street will be a 520,000 sq ft destination near Liverpool Street.

Dune London, Space NK and Reiss have also taken stores in the development following the success of their previous stores at 100 Liverpool Street.

Additionally, German gym operator John Reed will be opening a 22,000 sq ft gym over two floors.

The new lettings take total retailer occupancy, excluding food and leisure tenants, in the building to 83%. Just two units remain vacant, British Land revealed on Wednesday.

Gant, Watches of Switzerland, Neom, Kiehl’s and The Body Shop have also endorsed the new shopping centre.

David Lockyer, head of Broadgate said: “We’ve had exceptional leasing success at Broadgate, where the calibre of retail occupier really sets the tone for the rest of the campus. The commitment of these high quality brands to Broadgate is an excellent endorsement of our strategy to transform the campus into a vibrant, mixed-use destination.”

The neighbourhood is undergoing a significant £1.5bn redevelopment to deliver 4.9 million sq ft of new and redefined workplaces, retail and restaurants. When it opens, Broadgate will be the largest pedestrianised neighbourhood in East London.
