Nordstrom emoji app launches

Nordstrom and Topshop have launched a co-branded lifestyle emoji app featuring icons and emojis representing products actually sold by the retailers.


The emojis and illustrations are all created and designed by Los Angeles artist Natasha Lillipore.

The app features fashion and lifestyle emojis, stickers and GIFs. There are 95 emojis and 9 animated GIFs. Emojis include a Topshop jacket, Topshop Beauty lipsticks, faces, floral purses, branded shopping bags and drinks including coffee and cocktails.

Topshop Unique's Runway-to-Retail collection will show at London Fashion Week on September 16. The app will offer an update that will add seven new apparel emojis that directly come from the runway collection shown.

Emojis from the co-branded keyboard can be used in both text and email. The app emojis can also be used in Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and other smartphone messaging platforms. It is available on both iOS and Android, and is available as a free download until the end of February, 2017.

The app will get another update in time for holiday with a refresh of holiday themed emojis launching later this year.
