As Virgil Abloh gets ready to unveil his first-ever men's collection for Louis Vuitton in a lively setting on June 21, the designer has set up his own brand Off-White, inside Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The counter, open since the end of April, is located in the luxury designer space, on the first floor of the Parisian department store.

In the 41-square-metre space, fans of the Milan-based brand will be able to shop its women's collection, as well as the accessories designed by the American creative. To mark his arrival at Galeries Lafayette, Abloh has crafted a 24-piece collection (including three accessories items) to be sold exclusively at the department store.

Titled 'Blush', the capsule line is inspired by the Resort 18 collection and plays of the desirability of products featuring the Off-White name.

It's a strategy that Virgil Abloh has perfected each season with several limited-edition collaborations (such as his previous collaborations with Rimowa, Nike, Byredo and Ikea).

The hands-on designer is even the mind behind an exhibition with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Named "Technicolor 2", it will be held from June 23 to July 28 at the Gagosian Gallery, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
