American eyewear company Oliver Peoples and Stockholm-based fragrance house Byredo have partnered on a collection of eyewear and a scent that show off both companies’ expertise. Together they were were inspired by the concept of "synthesia", the joint perception of senses, for this collection.

The collection consists of two eyewear frames offered in two color options and three lens options, and a fragrance that is offered in three bottle colors that correspond with the sunglass lenses.

"Oliver Peoples has never done anything but glasses so for us to venture out and do a scent is a very big deal. I can’t think of anyone better than Byredo to do it with," said David Schulte, Oliver Peoples CEO.

Ben Gorham, Creative Director and Founder of Byredo added, "I have always admired Oliver Peoples for as long as I can remember and felt their approach to product was similar to ours at Byredo. It was important for me that this partnership had a true reason for being and synesthesia and the idea of joint perception became that."

The unisex, acetate sunglasses are available in Semi Matte Black and Beige Crystal with the lens colors Indigo, Champagne, and Green. The fragrance bottle is available in the same colors as the lenses.

The eyewear and fragrance are priced at $450 and $175, respectively. A box set of both items will be available for $530 at Oliver Peoples and Byredo stores, as well as exclusively at Barney’s New York.
