OndadeMar opens doors to Brickell City Centre store
Colombian swimwear brand OndadeMar continues its US expansion with the opening of a new store at Brickell City Centre, Miami’s new $1.05 billion shopping and mixed use development.

The store spreads over 1,130 sq ft of space and features interior design inspired by nostalgic seaside architecture and mixed with modern details. It benefits from an ideal location, sitting next to other premium and contemporary brands such as Bally, Intermix and Cavalli.
OndadeMar has now seven stores in the US, including a location in Hawai at Honolulu’s International Market Place. The Hawaiian venture, launched in August 2016, has proved to be a success for the brand, which announced later in the year that revenue reached more than $30,000 in the first month of trading.
General Manager Juan Germán Carvajal said the American market is the second most important for OndadeMar after Colombia. The swim and resort wear brand has 39 stores in Colombia, the US and Mexico.
The company has not yet released its annual results, however it expects to see a double-digit sales increase this 2017.
