According to a Footwear News report, the 1,100 square-foot shop on Lafayette Street features a modern and minimalistic interior design and three categories of the Asics subsidiary's footwear, including Onitsuka Tiger heritage product, its high-end Nippon Made line and a range of trend-focused products.

In addition, the Manhattan concept store also offers products like Onitsuka Tiger's ready-to-wear apparel line, accessories and children's footwear, which are normally sold exclusively at the label's international flagships.

“When we were presented with the Lafayette Street space, we thought it was the opportune moment to build out a thorough concept store completely in line with our other flagships across the globe,” executive officer and head of Onitsuka Tiger Company Ryoji Shoda said in a statement to Footwear News.

"We’re very excited to bring this experience to our existing fans, but also to our new neighborhood and customers.”

The permanent New York store follows a pop-up located on SoHo's Mercer Street, which remained open for two years. Representatives from Onitsuka Tiger confirmed with Footwear News that the label plans to open its first U.S.-based office and showroom this summer.
