Dutch outerwear brand Kassl Editions has moved into ready-to-wear with the launch of a seven-piece capsule collection for AW22.

Kassl Editions

The company said the new offer is “crafted from the same adventurous selection of materials – including double-faced wool, rubber and taffeta – seen in the Kassl Editions coats” for the current season. The collection of jumpsuits, pants and vest tops “carries core design elements” of its outerwear into “easy ready-to-wear pieces that are at once relaxed and sophisticated”.

It’s been inspired by “the ideal of ultimate uniform dressing – with tops and bottoms cut from identical fabrics”, and the collection “creates a modern, oversized silhouette that takes the wearer confidently between the dual realms of urban life and outdoor exploration, and combines perfectly with all Kassl Editions outerwear”.

That means its signature “sumptuous minimalism” is typified in the “subtly high-contrast combination of a dark grey boiled wool V-neck sweater and black high-shine Oil Light flared trousers – at once stiff and molten, matte and lustrous”.

Elsewhere, there’s a green minidress with diagonal pockets at the front and press studs at the back that “brings the earthy drama of the countryside to an urban staple. In line with the capsule collection’s adaptability, it can also be worn as a shirt”.

Meanwhile the oversized jumpsuits in double-faced wool and taffeta “reference and transform established aspects of utility wear through their lavish materiality”.

The offer is available via Net-A-Porter and the brand’s own webstore.
