The Spanish brand, which currently operates 16 online shops in countries such as Germany, France, Greece, Portugal, Poland, China and the UK, is adding 16 new e-commerce platforms in an expansion process that will be carried out over the next four months.

Romania, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland will see the launch of an Oysho online store this February, while the second phase will take place in March with platforms for Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland.

Oysho is also readying e-commerce sites for Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta, due to launch in April this year.

Coinciding with the launch of new e-commerce sites, Oysho is debuting a new online image that aims to reflect the ‘look and feel’ of the retailer’s brick-and-mortar stores.

The revamped look centers around two concepts: image and horizontal scrolling. It features a sidebar menu layout, which makes the retailer’s categories easy to find.

The company said the new format aims to provide a more intuitive and dynamic web experience, offering quality images and user-friendly tools.

Oysho has nearly 650 stores around the world, of which 190 are located in Spain. It is present in more than 44 countries and has led new openings in Europe, Africa, America and Asia as part of its internationalization plan.
