Pam & Gela launches at VeryExclusive.co.uk

Pam & Gela, the new brand from Juicy Couture founders Pamela
Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, has entered the UK market. The label is sold on VeryExclusive.co.uk, multichannel retailer Shop Direct's new "accessible luxury" website.

The new brand features sweat pants, biker jackets, T-shirts and mini-skirts, and stays true to the laid-back California style that the designers are known for. Skaist-Levy and Nash-Taylor told Very Exclusive that they are inspired by: "vintage, tribal jewellery, trolling the racks at Palace, Andre's #1 Shoes on Sunset Blvd a Hollywood landmark, and backstage at the Whiskey."

To Women's Wear Daily, they revealed that pop-up stores could be the next step for the brand: "I like the idea of these stores that are very weirdly out of the way," said Nash-Taylor. "They’re destinations as opposed to these big retail strips. I think if it’s a retail space, it has to be special on some level."
