Selvedge Run, the Berlin trade show dedicated to menswear, footwear and accessories with a special focus on high-end and artisanal products, will leave the Kulturbrauerei venue for its sixth edition, which will be held at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre in the German capital. Specifically, in the Marshall Haus hall, where Selvedge Run’s Autumn/Winter 2018-19 session is scheduled for January 2018, next door to and in parallel with another key fashion industry event, the Panorama Berlin trade show.

"After five editions, our show has built a solid reputation, reflected in our slogan for this year: 'Built on Trust'. In a troubled international environment, we inspire trust, and we are delighted that a large number of brands and retailers from Germany and the rest of the world will be present at our show. Selvedge Run is positioned in a highly specific market segment, which extends well beyond the borders of Germany and even Europe," said Shane Brandenburg, head of sales for Selvedge Run.

As indicated in a press release, the two shows will remain independent, but will benefit from the synergy deriving from their proximity. Besides, Selvedge Run is an interesting complement to the section of Panorama called 'Nova Concept', dedicated to denim apparel, casualwear and lifestyle products. A joint guide for the two shows' visitors is being prepared.

"The cooperation with Selvedge Run gives us the chance to grow the number of exhibitors in our Nova Concept section," said Jörg Wichmann, the head of Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin GmbH. "As a result, we will present a more interesting range of exhibitors for the denim and casualwear markets, and we will be able to attract an even greater number of specialist visitors from Germany and elsewhere."

The Panorama Berlin trade show is jointly organised by Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin GmbH and Messe Berlin GmbH. Its first edition was held in January 2013. The latest edition, in July 2017, featured more than 700 exhibitors on a 45,000 m2 area, and attracted approximately 50,000 visitors from 96 countries.

The Autumn/Winter 2018-19 edition of Panorama Berlin is scheduled from 16th to 18th January 2018 at Messe Berlin.
