Pendleton is an American heritage brand that creates high-quality clothing and blankets from 100% virgin wool. New Era is a New York-based sportswear company best known for their sportswear caps, the first versions dating back to 1920 when the company was founded.

This is just one of many recent collaborative efforts from Pendleton. Just in the second half of 2016 alone, Pendleton has teamed up with Nike for a sneaker, Timberland for a boot, with Mara Hoffman for a series of swimsuits, and with UGG for a selection of bags.

Pendleton also has been collaborating with less mass-market brands, most recently with NYC designer Lindsey Thornburg for a series of avante-garde capes, and Copenhagen menswear designer Han Kbjoven for a capsule collection.

Part of Pendleton's marketing strategy for years now, the heritage wool brand has partnered with some 15 labels a year to create collections and products using Pendleton’s signature wool prints.

The collaboration is currently released in Japan, to be released in the United States at a later date.
