Penhaligon's celebrates the natural riches of the Turkish town of Halfeti

The Penhaligon's Trade Routes collection, which draws its inspiration from the legendary trade routes leading to London in the latter half of the 19th century, has been extended to include a new fragrance, "Halfeti Leather."

The new scent, which is a darker and spicier edition of the original "Halfeti," an iconic fragrance by the British perfumer, is available from a selection of stores and online from Penhaligons.com.

With its well-established Trade Routes collection, British perfumer Penhaligon's has created a range of exotic and captivating fragrances marked by the many ingredients from faraway places that arrived in the city of London at the end of the 19th century. The latest addition to this collection, "Halfeti Leather," embarks us on a journey to a remote Turkish town that is home to remarkable natural riches.

The fragrance, created by perfumer Christian Provenzano, opens with fresh notes of bergamot and artemisia, enhanced with scents of jasmine and spicy rose, before revealing warm base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, leather, oud, amber and patchouli.

It is presented in a deep black bottle with a delicate red and gold label, which is decorated with a red bow.

"Halfeti Leather" is already available from a selection of stores and online.
