The Colombian brand, now under the helm of Pepa Pombo’s daughter, Mónica Holguín, is expanding its international presence. The brand is making its New York City debut with a pop-up store at the illustrious department store Bergdorf Goodman

In its Fashion & Style section this week, the New York Times promoted the pop-up shop and included the Colombian designer on a list of its must-buys for Mother’s Day. Pieces from Pepa Pombo retail for between $1,500 and $2,000.

Similar to fellow Colombian brand Johanna Ortíz, which is available at Neiman Marcus, Pepa Pombo hasn’t forgotten its roots. While the brand celebrates its success abroad, it continues showing its collections in Colombia. Some of the pieces available at Bergdorfs were shown for the first time at 2016’s Colombiamoda, the country’s version of fashion week.

According to the Times, the pop-up will take place from May 15-29.
