Pepe Jeans - which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year – has signed a licensing agreement with Cambridge University as it looks to diversify its product offering. The duration of the agreement has not been disclosed.

Founded in 1209, Cambridge University is an important figure in British culture and history. “The spring-summer 2014 collection consists of around 70 pieces for men and several items for children,” said head of Pepe Jeans in France, Philippe Atlani.

The Cambridge University collection by Pepe Jeans will allow the brand to reach a wider audience, not too dissimilar to that of Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. Expect the collection to boast rugby, polo and rowing references all done with a preppy flair.
