The Perry Ellis group is becoming a strong international force. For its last financial year closed at the end of January, the American group saw its activity outside of its domestic market grow 15% and represent 12% of its revenue.

In Europe, via its licenses, the group has amped up its international imprint with the development of Original Penguin. The brand has six monobrand stores in the UK and has developed a presence at Britain's House of Fraser, but also at Corte Ingles in Spain, at the Galeries Lafayette, thanks to its French license holder Laurel Canyon Agency, and Coin in Italy. It is also building itself up to assume a presence in the German-speaking zone of Germany-Austria-Switzerland.

A dynamic that validates its ambitions to develop the group's beacon brand in Europe. The group has reconfirmed its desire to bring Perry Ellis to Europe at the beginning of 2016. The group explains that to do this it is finalising agreements with partners and distributors in the UK and continental Europe.
