Peuterey is strengthening its management team with the arrival of a CEO, a newly created position. The Italian sportswear group specialised in down jackets was until now run by its president Francesca Lusini. In a press release, the brand has announced the appointment of Francesco Pesci to the roll of the group's CEO.

The executive has spent a good part of his career at luxury menswear label Brioni (Kering), which he joined in 1994 as its commercial director until 2004, and where he returned, after a stint at jeweller Damiani, in the role of global commercial director to start and then CEO starting in 2010 and until this past November, when he passed on the baton to Gianluca Flore.

This newly created position, which a highly experienced executive has been hired to fill, should allow Peuterey to accelerate its international expansion process via direct distribution and positioning in the medium/high-end segment.
