Pinterest taps UK's Topshop to launch Pinterest Palette

In a pioneering partnership, Pinterest, the creative Internet tool that lets users pin inspirational images, has teamed up with UK fashion retailer Topshop.

The collaboration comes in time for London Fashion Week and marks the launch of Pinterest Palette, which will give consumers access to next season’s key colour palettes direct from the streets of New York, London, Milan and Paris.

It also lets users find their own colour DNA, as it scans and identifies the dominant colour in any given set of Pins. This means that people can discover their own subconscious colour preferences. There are more than 16.8m possible colour combinations, so Pinterest promises each Palette will be unique.

Topshop has also linked Palettes to its entire online catalogue, which means that customers' personal colour preferences can guide their shopping.

In the Topshop Oxford Circus flagship, customers will be able to print out their own Pinterest Palettes and colour inspiration cards.
