Piti Uomo stays firm in its position as an essential trade show for men’s fashion brands. Taking place three weeks before Berlin’s Bread&Butter, the Florentine event is of great international significance. Even though its organiser Pitti Imagine is currently busy preparing for the official launch of e-Pitti, a virtual version of its trade shows, it certainly has not forgotten about its menswear fair. Held at the Fortezza da Basso over the course of three days (June 14th to 17th), the event will show case more than 1,000 men’s collections of which 34% are not Italian.

“This edition is going to happen at a positive time in the market. The Summer season is usually a little weaker than Winter. We have really good projects underway and a high attendance rate of exhibitors from established as well as emerging countries”, commented Pitti Imagine’s CEO Raffaello Napoleone. Some of the various events taking place are: Lubiam’s 100th anniversary, pieces from Pringle of Scotland’s collection made in collaboration with Central Saint Martins, Carhartt’s new trendy line Carhartt Work In Progress… Bearing in mind Daks’ launch of its new line Daks Sport. Other names among the list of confirmed appearances are Sopopular, K-Way, Alternative apparel, Sundek by Neil Barret, Jaggy, Robinson les Bains and Barbour Beacon.

As for the layout of the trade show, visitors do not have to worry about getting lost. The space will be divided into 13 sections, such as Sport&Sport, My Factory, Urban Panorama and Ynformal. At the heart of the space you will find classic, modern and even sports brands: Brunello Cuccinelli, Lardini, Bogliolo, Church's, Isaia, Alberts Arts, Kiton, etc.
