Playtime organizers to launch new trade fair in Las Vegas
Following Picaflor's announcement at the beginning of October that it would be calling time on its Berlin-based trade show after three editions, the company behind Playtime Paris, New York and Tokyo is set to launch a new event on the US West Coast. Dubbed Kid's Hub Las Vegas by Playtime, the new trade show dedicated to childrenswear will take place from February 4th through 5th, 2019, at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.
"In a country as large as the United States, we needed to offer something to complement Playtime's success in New York. Not only is Las Vegas a top business destination, but, up until now, the city has not hosted a professional trade show focused entirely on kids' fashion", explained Picaflor, which launched Playtime New York in 2010.
The number and names of the exhibitors who will show at Kid's Hub Las Vegas by Playtime are yet to be confirmed but the lineup will no doubt differ from Picaflor's New York trade show in order to target American buyers more specifically.
In parallel, Picaflor is pushing forward with the overhaul of its Paris and Tokyo trade shows, the latter of which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next February. At the next edition of the Paris show, slated to take place from January 26th through 28th, 2019, at the Parc Floral, new services will be on offer for both exhibitors and buyers, such as conferences discussing how brands can develop their digital and international strategies.
