Portuguese online store Melie opens a pop-up at Topshop
For the second year in a row, the Portuguese multi-brand online shopping platform Melie will open a pop-up store at Topshop Oxford Circus. For two weeks, from November 19 to December 2, the online store will showcase a selection of pieces from more than 20 brands.
After a first week-long collaboration in 2016, Melie is again teaming up with Topshop for another edition of Melie x Topshop in the British brand's London flagship.
For two weeks, Melie will offer customers in London pieces from brands such as Alice McCall, C/Meo Collective, Elliatt, Faithful the Brand, For Love and Lemons, Lovers+Friends, Misha Collection and Nookie.
Margarida Martins, marketing coordinator at Melie, explains that the store "has developed, aiming to create a strong legacy through the pop-up store concept". Thanks to its in-store presence at Topshop, "the brand's exposure gains relevance in an offline context", which Melie would achieve "with difficulty" in a different location.
With this second event at Topshop, the Portuguese company hopes to "bring together the offline experience and online interaction, handing out gift vouchers and discounts to customers who spend over 150 pounds" at the pop-up store or who sign up to the brand's newsletter, added Martins.
