After welcoming a record number of visitors last year, the New York edition of the Première Vision show will feature on 19th and 20th January a larger exhibition area, in order to extend its textile range to leather goods and finished products.

David Hart will be Première Vision New York's ambassador in January 2016

The show will relocate from Pier 92 to Pier 94 on the Hudson River, where it will await 364 exhibitors selected by Première Vision. Some thirty leather goods companies have also heeded the call for their industry's presence at the event. The list of those attending includes Samantha, Tanneries Haaas, Nova Kaeru, Mégisserie Lauret, RG Deri, CKD Cetinkaya and Cuirs du Futur.

The show's new Manufacturing section will feature 26 womenswear and menswear specialists, notably including a significant range of high-end suits. The Moroccan, Portuguese and Japanese textile industries will be well represented among the exhibitors.  In addition, the show will feature the presence of Manufacture New York, a group of industry players specialised in 'Made in NY' products.

The Fabrics section, dedicated to textile, will as usual account for the majority of exhibitors, with 132 manufacturers showcasing their wares for Spring-Summer 2017. Visitors will be able to discover the work of Ricamificio Gimar, Henitex, Carvico, Junior Arte Ricami, Savyon and Digitale Textil. The Accessories area will host 19 exhibiting companies, while 157 studios will be brought together by Designs, dedicated to textile design.

Première Vision New York's previous winter edition attracted more than 4,000 buyers, who braved the glacial temperatures that enveloped Manhattan last year, when the professional event hosted the offerings of 297 companies.
