Première Vision’s Fashion Rendez-vous show will be held at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris on September 13-14. First staged in July 2021, to satisfy the demand for an in-person event despite the health protection measures still in place then, Fashion Rendez-vous enables Première Vision to still feature a trade show in September, as PV Paris has now become a July event.

In 2022, Fashion Rendez-vous was staged for the first time in the autumn, on September 7-8, at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. This year, it is going back to the Grand Palais Éphémère, having been the first event held there after the venue was set up in 2021. The show’s forthcoming session will feature fabric collections for Fall/Winter 2024-25, and will host just over 110 exhibitors.

Among them, weavers, leather manufacturers, garment makers, accessories producers and textile design studios. Many exhibitors, besides some 40 local ones, will come from outside France, mainly from Italy, the UK, Spain and Portugal, plus a dozen producers from China and 15 from Turkey.

The show’s programme includes five conferences and workshops. The first will be a panel discussion on how to use data to fight greenwashing, featuring representatives of the Climate Change association, the MU Cooperative and French state organisation Ecobalyse.

The ecological challenge posed by high-volume output will be debated among representatives of Business for Social Responsibility, of the Chaire Comptabilité Écologique, a mixed industry/academia body focusing on ecological accounting, and of circular solutions provider Weturn. Collaborations, co-designing and co-manufacturing will be discussed between representatives of Lectra, Fairly Made, Bugis and the Eram group.

On Thursday, the show will host two workshops on Fall/Winter 2024-25 trends, focusing respectively on fabrics and leather, conducted by Première Vision’s fashion staff. Registration to attend these conferences and workshops is now open.

Première Vision Paris, the organiser’s main trade show, welcomed 25,117 visitors, of whom 17,317 from outside France, at its latest edition, held on July 4-6 and the Villepinte exhibition centre. Première Vision is also busy preparing the next PV Shenzhen show, scheduled on September 20-22.
