The opening also represents the company’s launch in Central and Eastern Europe, helping it reach 372 stores in 12 markets (including in the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, United States, Italy and Slovenia). The brand has also announced plans to expand into Central and Eastern Europe, and has signed agreements to open its first facilities in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Creating 200 jobs, the new store spreads over 4,200 mts of space across two floors. The space’s design and layout are based on the latest Primark concept, with 48 fitting rooms, 44 checkout points, access to free Wi-Fi and two recharging areas to provide a better shopping experience.

Primark retail director Stephen Mullen has welcomed the brand’s launch in Slovenia. “We are very pleased with the opening of our first store in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. The opening takes the total number of markets where we operate to 12 and we are very happy to be able to offer our fashion at incredible prices to the citizens of Slovenia,” he said.
