The store was designed by Swiss architecture and design studio Atelier Oï, and plays with the brand’s signature argyle pattern.

Pringle of Scotland opened its first retail store in Chengdu in April. The luxury label specialised in knitwear has plans to open some 15 to 20 single-brand stores in China within three to five years.

The strategy is focused on both womenswear and menswear, and also concerns department stores and selective multi-brand stores.

Created in 1815, the fashion house was bought in 2000 by SC Fang & Sons, one of the largest producers of knitwear in Hong Kong.
