Printemps department store has launched a new, revamped website, available in French only for the time being. It offers more aspirational content and is designed to better showcase its product range. The makeover was engineered by Printemps' internal team and also via a partnership with the Condé Nast group.

The magazine section on Printemps' new website - Printemps

The redesigned site has a "more upmarket" look and incorporates several sections, chief among them the magazine-style 'L'oeil du Printemps', featuring style tips and themed gift suggestions. The partnership with Condé Nast relates to this section in particular. Besides the classic thematic sections, Printemps has also redesigned the format, trying to recreate the feel of its Parisian flagship store on boulevard Haussmann, for example adding pictures taken in-store.

The website's other novelty is that its users are able to identify themselves as customers of each of the 22 Printemps stores as a way for Printemps to provide store-specific details and foster the creation of local communities around its stores. For each of them, the website details the relevant shopping, wellness or catering options available, and gives access to details of the new 'Printania' loyalty programme.

On the retail side, the website now redirects towards the Printemps group's e-shops: PlaceDesTendances.com, Printemps Beauté, Printemps Voyages and Printemps Listes, and to the website of the Citadium stores, also part of the Printemps group.
