Heidi Klum and Project Runway have teamed up for an interactive exhibit at Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York City.

Guests are taken for a journey as a contestant on the show. There are five parts fans can walk through and style their own looks. Guests can pose for a magazine cover and walk the runway with a wax Heidi Klum.

"The Project Runway Experience is all about giving guests a behind-the-seams glimpse into the world of fashion and leaving them feeling inspired all while having unbeatable, interactive fun," said Madame Tussauds New York General Manager Anna Domingo.

The interactive nature of the exhibit begins on the sidewalk and then takes guests to a loft style design studio. Digital media displays help fans create model avatars and dress them in a variety of looks. Fans can select colors, patterns and fabrics to create virtual runway looks that can be saved and shared on social media.

Fans will encounter the wax Klum who wears a white mini dress designed by Barbara Bui. The look is what the supermodel and host wore for the 2016 season finale of Project Runway. Like the show, the exhibit ends on the runway in a fashion show.

Klum said she was measured 200 times and photographed 150 times by the museum in preparation of her wax figure. Klum said she loves that her wax "figure has such a big smile. I think it captures me so nicely."

Project Runway is now in its 16th season. The Project Runway Experience opened exclusively at Madam Tussauds in Times Square on September 21, 2017.
