Puma announces new North American headquarters in Massachusetts

Puma North America, Inc. has announced plans for a new North American headquarters in Somerville, Massachusetts in 2021. The new headquarters will bring together the sports company's two current Massachusetts-based Puma offices, located in Boston and Westford.

Located at 455 Grand Union Boulevard, the five-floor location will offer 150,000 square feet of office space, a 19,000-square-foot roof deck with a recreational area and basketball court, as well as a fitness center, an on-location kids room, and a 2,300-square-foot balcony. The new headquarters will house approximately 550 employees once the move is complete, growing the company's workforce by over 20 percent. 

A long-term lease for the space, which will soon house the 300,000-square-foot building, has been negotiated between the company and developer and landlord Federal Realty Investment Trust. 

The news follows the sportswear brand's recent high-performance cosmetics collaboration with Maybelline, as well as the appointment of Arne Freundt to the role of Puma's regional general manager for Europe and EEMEA.
