The brand, best known for creating the £56,000 couture gown worn by the Duchess of Sussex for her engagement photos with Prince Harry, will be relocating from Chelsea.

The new 30,000-square-foot space located in the Media Works building in White City Place will be almost twice the size of the brand’s current atelier and accommodate about 400 staff.

Founded in 2010 by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, the brand has also dressed Princess Beatrice, who wore a blue skirt suit from the label to Princess Eugenie’s wedding, and celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Alison Brie.

Yoox-Net-A-Porter, the group behind luxury destinations including Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter, will also take up residence at White City Place, alongside industry-leading organisations like the BBC and ITV.

Ralph & Russo is the only fashion house in London dedicated to couture.

“We have exploded out of the current space and really wanted to find a hub that’s all about creativity and nurturing new talent, which is increasingly what we are about,” Michael Russo told The Times.

“We love London. What you get here is a lot of creativity and I think what we’ve brought as a brand to London is the craftsmanship that is perhaps what has been missing in London historically.”
