Reef appoints David Schultz as VP Sales
Schultz will be tasked with leading the sales teams for the United States, Asia Pacific and Central America.
Roger Spatz, Reef Brand President spoke of Schultz's skills saying, "His ability to build strong selling organizations that work in a disciplined way will ensure maximized partnerships with customers. Furthermore, he has shown that he can build strong product, marketing and operational partnerships."
Schultz comes to Reef most recently from SKLZ where he was also a VP of sales both for the US and globally for almost four years. Prior to SKLZ, Schultz spent seven years at Timex as a VP of their sales focusing on sport as well as military channels.
Schultz attended Cal State Fullerton and received his MBA from Wake Forest University. He began his career in consumer products at Black & Decker, where he first became a VP of sales in 2005.
A Southern California native, Schultz grew up in Huntington Beach and will be very familiar with how to lead Reef's sales teams and tell the product story. Schultz said, “I grew up surfing in Huntington Beach and shopping at core surf shops where many of my friends worked. After watching the brand evolve over the last decade I’ve spent in the sport industry, I’m humbled by the opportunity to represent a truly authentic and timeless brand."
Schultz expects to focus his leadership on customer service with Reef's retail partners and continuing to deliver product that consumers love.
