Revieve's AI Skin Advisor helps Superdrug boost beauty conversion rates
Digital beauty brand experience company Revieve said its partnership with health & beauty giant AS Watson has boosted conversions, average order value and time spent on the e-commerce sites for the latter’s Superdrug business.
Achieved via its AI Skin Advisor, Revieve has strengthened the UK health & beauty retailer’s Offline Plus Online (O+O) retail ecosystem, powered by technology, big data, and artificial intelligence.
Superdrug saw its users converted by over 100% while average order value increased over 20%, it claimed.
The Skin Advisor experience combines proprietary computer vision technology and mobile skin diagnostics that analyse over 120 skin metrics from a user’s face and several algorithms specifically trained to analyse distinct skincare and beauty-related facial features.
To receive a personalised, in-depth skin analysis and product recommendations its users take a selfie and answer specific questions about their skin type and any personal skin concerns.
“With our O+O retail ecosystem we create an integrated experience to serve customers' needs better, enabling them to shop across any channel, anytime, anywhere,” said Dan Jarvis, Chief Digital Officer (Europe) of AS Watson Group.
