Reworld Media partners with Chalhoub Group to produce content in the Middle East
Reworld Media is currently in the news for its potential merger with Mondadori France, the French Press Group and parent company of Be, Marie France, and Auto Moto. Now, Reworld has announced the creation of a joint venture with Chalhoub, a business based in Dubai.
The business specialises in the distribution of luxury brands in the Middle East and will work together with Reworld Media and use its data resources to produce and distribute content in the Middle East. This suggests that there will be a strong focus on the brands retailed by Chalhoub.
“We are convinced of the strategic role that content plays in the building of a brand and the establishment of consumer confidence,” explained Pascal Chevalier, the President of Reworld Media, in a statement.
Patrick Chalhoub, the Director of the eponymous Chalhoub Group, said: “Combining Reworld Media’s media conversion solutions and our years of experience in the region, we will be able to offer innovative offers specific to each different zone of the region. This will allow the Arab youth to find their voice, to experiment, to inspire, and most importantly, to be entertained.”
It may be a while before we see the first fruits of this joint venture. The “highly innovative media platforms and solutions in the Middle East” will be deployed soon, according to the business’ statement.
