Riccardo Tisci may have left his glittering Givenchy career behind earlier this year, but the Italian designer is certainly keeping himself busy.

The creative has hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Nike in a series of new Instagram posts -- the first of which sees him photographed with the sportswear giant's iconic tick logo superimposed onto his portrait. "Dreams come true," he captioned the image, adding the hashtags #NikeRT #NikeBasketball #NikeNBA #comingsoon and #nyc. A second photo of the Nike RT logo confirmed that the new project has a basketball slant, along with the caption "I'm honored to be part of this important moment as @Nike reclaims its partnership with the @NBA," while a final post simply said "NIKE RT coming soon."

This isn't the first time Tisci has teamed up with Nike -- in fact, he has been working with the brand on footwear designs since 2014, and back in March he leant his creative outlook to a 30th anniversary version of the brand's signature Air Max 97 sneaker.

Tisci stepped down from his post as creative director at the luxury French fashion house Givenchy at the beginning of this year, following a 12-year tenure at the label.
