Robert Clergerie appoints Perry Oosting as President
French luxury footwear label Robert Clergerie has appointed Perry Oosting as President. Oosting succeeds Eva Taub, who was in charge of Robert Clergerie since 2012, after it was acquired by First Brand Heritage, a holding company belonging to Hong Kong's Fung family, also the owner of Sonia Rykiel and leather goods label Delvaux.
Perry Oosting has had a long career in the luxury sector, holding senior management positions at Bulgari, Prada and Gucci. Until the beginning of 2017 he was General Manager for Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad.
"He has a full understanding of the value-creation chain, from design to manufacturing to communications and sales, as well as a thorough knowledge of the footwear industry, having been in charge of the segment at Miu Miu, Prada and Prada Sports," wrote Robert Clergerie in a press release.
