Roland Armbruster will succeed Jérôme Gilg, who is stepping down after a 20-year career with the Maus Frères Group, including four years as CEO of Manor.

Armbruster brings more than 20 years of experience in the retail industry. During his career, he has held various management positions, including CEO, COO, head of strategy and head of business development with leading department store groups such as KaDeWe, Karstadt, De Bijenkorf and Breuninger. Most recently, he was CEO of Gruppo Coin.

As Manor's new CEO, he will be responsible for strengthening the differentiation and attractiveness of Manor in Switzerland, the company announced. In addition to the development of the product range, digitalisation and the simplification of processes and working methods should be among his priorities.

Thierry Guibert, CEO of the Maus Frères Group, says: "Roland Armbruster will bring his knowledge of the sector and his international experience to continue the dynamism and transformation of Manor, a company that has been in existence for more than a hundred years and occupies a very special place in our group and in the Swiss retail landscape."
