Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has landed a new role as the Accessories Ambassador for Bulgari.

The British model and actress will represent the Italian fashion house's handbag and eyewear collections, with the announcement coinciding with the brand's Fall/Winter 2016 Accessories Collections.

"I love the rich heritage of the Maison and its unwavering commitment to Italian craftsmanship and history," says Huntington-Whiteley of her latest high-profile fashion job. "Whether I'm wearing one of their stunning watches, a pair of gorgeous earrings, or one of their beautifully made handbags, I feel as if they add a touch of glamour and elegance to whatever outfit I'm wearing. I am thrilled to be associated with a brand as inspiring as Bulgari."

The new collections, titled "Serpenti" and "Bulgari Bulgari Accessories," combine versatile color palettes inspired by precious gemstones, with luxurious handcrafted materials. The new pieces include a limited-edition Serpenti Bejewelled handbag, inspired by an exquisite Bulgari Heritage Collection necklace of rare gemstones.

Supermodel Huntington-Whiteley has modeled for prestigious fashion campaigns, and walked the runways for major fashion houses including Burberry, Versace and Balmain among others. She has developed her own lingerie range at retail giant Marks & Spencer titled "Autograph by Rosie Huntington-Whitely" and last year made her acting debut in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" last year, before appearing as the tragic Splendid Angharad in "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Bulgari, which is part of the LVMH Group, was originally founded in Rome in 1884 as a jewelry shop and has gone on to become a global designer of fine jewels, watches, accessories and perfumes.
