With twenty years of luxury experience in the Asian market, Vuchot will direct and oversee all Sephora's operations in Asia.

Having been based in Hong Kong for several years, Vuchot previously served as Regional President of North Asia for DFS Group. He has also previously tenured as President Asia for Van Cleef & Arpels and served as Communications Director for Cartier.

The news comes as Sephora continues to ramp up its expansion in Asia. Acquired by the French luxury conglomerate LVMH back in 1997, Sephora is currently present in seven Asian countries -- China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and The Philippines, and has standalone stores in nearby Australia and New Zealand.

The global chain opened its first Chinese store in 2005 and now more than 200 stores across in China. Worldwide, Sephora has more than 2,300 locations in 33 countries.
