Prestige science-based skincare brand SkinCeuticals is moving into bricks and mortar.

The L'Oréal-owned brand has announced plans to launch a series of ‘SkinCeuticals SkinLabs' across the US, in partnership with a team of physicians. The concept, which features the tagline, "Great skin, made easy," is described by the company as a "holistic skincare destination offering cutting-edge, physician-validated services with the ease, convenience and accessibility that meets the demands of today's consumer."

The labs will offer clients the chance to shop the brand's signature products, get an expert skincare consultation and benefit from a range of treatments. These include ‘Skinsmooth,' an LED Micropeel and Phyto Corrective Gel treatment using red light therapy, ‘Skinbright,' a non-invasive laser treatment that promises brighter, more even-looking skin, and ‘Skinfirm,' which uses microneedling and a hydrating B₅ Gel treatment that aims to deliver a firmer and more youthful-looking complexion. Doctor-administered services such as body contouring, injectables and vitamin IV drips will also be available.

"In the past five years, we successfully rolled out our flagship-physician partner program with over 100 dermatologists and plastic surgeons who trust in our science and business expertise enough to exclusively sell our brand," explained Christina Fair, General Manager of SkinCeuticals. "With SkinCeuticals SkinLab's approachable aesthetics, we are bringing in the next generation of aesthetic enthusiasts to our doctors and brand to further our ultimate goal of sharing the wealth of knowledge that our physicians have and our experience with advanced skincare combined with professional aesthetic treatments."

The first SkinLab opened its doors in California's Napa Valley in December, reports WWD, with imminent openings scheduled for Houston and Stamford, and further expansion planned over the course of 2020.
