Sloggi's international expansion policy has a new leader. The Triumph International group has recently announced the forthcoming arrival of a new CEO for the French underwear brand: Ludovic Manzon, after working for Nike and spending twelve years with Puma, will step into the new role on 1st March.

A 46 year old Frenchman, Manzon replaces Roman Braun, heir to one of the two founding families of Triumph International, who will return to a more 'strategic' role within the group's holding company. Like his predecessor, Ludovic Manzon will not be based in France, but at the group's headquarters in Bad Zurzach, Switzerland.

Ludovic Manzon's profile is significant for Sloggi, whose former CEO notably mentioned the need to strengthen the international representation of a brand which is still deeply rooted in France, reaching out instead towards Asia, and Japan in particular. Manzon's last posting was, aptly, that of General Manager of the Asia-Pacific and Japanese subsidiary of Puma, a position he filled for nearly four years.
