New York, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin and now, finally, it's Paris's turn to present the "Snoopy and Belle in Fashion" exhibit, from September 29 to October 1, during Paris Fashion Week.

In honor of the 65th anniversary of the "Peanuts" comic strip, created by Charles M. Shulz, the iconic dog and his sister Belle will star in the Alcôve du Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week. Having been given a total makeover, the characters from the famous cartoon will be wearing designer creations made specifically for them.

Dressed by Emanuel Ungaro and Isabel Marant

One thing is for sure: Snoopy and Belle know a thing or two about fashion. For this exhibit, they have been clothed by some of the world's greatest designers and fashion houses.

With Betsey Johnson, the duo will adopt a punk look while Diane von Furstenberg will give the sibling heroes a "black and white" getup. Their evening wear will be courtesy of J. Mendel, and the rock n' roll vibe will come from Kenneth Cole.

These new creations will be on exhibit alongside first edition works, imagined by Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Gucci and Hermès.

First appearance on the big screen

This 65th anniversary is also a chance for Snoopy to get his foot in the Hollywood door. The adventures of Charlie Brown and his dog will be hitting theaters in 3D on November 6 in "The Peanuts Movie," directed by Steve Martino.
