Sofia Vergara to star in interactive P&G Super Bowl ad

Sofia Vergara is hosting a star-studded Super Bowl party, and the public has been charged with directing it.
The personal care conglomerate Procter & Gamble has combined several of its brands this year to create a joint Super Bowl ad featuring the "Modern Family" actress, who also acts as the spokesperson for the company's haircare brand Head & Shoulders. She shares the screen with other household names such as Rob Riggle, Troy Polamalu, Isaiah Mustafa, Busy Philipps and Manolo Vergara.
The commercial sees Vergara's guests come together to tackle a "Super Bowl party messy surprise," but it is the public who will decide on the ad's course of action, by voting online for different scenarios. The most popular choices will be edited into a final cut in the minutes leading up to the commercial's debut during Sunday night's game.
"My friends and family love a good Super Bowl party, and part of the fun is the element of surprise -- for the game's outcome, and for what happens when you bring people together," said Vergara in a statement. "One thing's for sure -- I've never had so many surprises in one party as I did at this one!"
"Fans get to choose things like how messy the party gets, how yours truly shows up and how we all come together in the end," added actor and comedian Riggle. "I don't even know how it will end, but I can tell you the Quicker Picker Upper has never looked so good."
