Sorel launches an outerwear line

As announced by FashionMag.com in March, Sorel is trying its hand in the clothing sector. This September first, in its New York store, the shoewear brand known for its winter boots, is thus launching an outerwear capsule line. A collection that includes coats and parkas for men and women, according to WWD.
Top-of-the-range and technical, the pieces fall in line with the footwear collections that the Columbia group brand has been expanding over the last few seasons to create a presence beyond winter.
For the first half of the 2015 financial year, ended 30 June, Sorel recorded 17.7 million dollars in sales, an increase of 11%.
