Spanish magnate Alicia Koplowitz invests in Inditex

Spanish business magnate and 7th Marquise of Bellavista, Alicia Koplowitz, has made a key investment in Spanish retail company Inditex, it emerged on Tuesday.

According to Spanish news agency Europapress, Koplowitz’s private investment vehicle invested up to three million euros in Inditex in the first half of the year.

This follows a wave of further investments in international companies such as Amazon and Google, where the Spanish billionaire invested 967,000 euros and 2.02 million in April and June respectively.

According to public records, her private investment firm also acquires shares for 10.6 million euros in Facebook and Yahoo.
