Paris: city of lights, city of love and... sneaker capital. Season after season, Paris confirms itself as the place to go to scout out the rarest, most original sneakers.

With local players Shinzo and Starcow, which are growing their business with the opening of new shops, and stores specialised in Sneakers, such as Opium and the many along and around Rue Saint-Denis, the French capital is a pole of attraction. And as an added bonus to the events dedicated to Paris' growing sneaker culture, new players are coming to town. In 2012 it was British label Size? which gave its contribution to diversify the offer.

In autumn 2015, it will be independent Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff which will open its doors in Paris. The retailer will set up shop at 95 Rue Réaumur, in Paris' 2nd arrondissement. At 300 m² on the ground floor and approximately 150 m² on the lower floor, there won't be a lack of space!

Even though the store hasn't opened yet, Sneakersnstuff's French teams are already on the move. They have kicked off with a social network presence, and organised a first competition that will award its winners a pair of Yeezyboost 350 sneakers.

Sneakersnstuff is one of those retailers which brands are keen to collaborate with. In May, along with Adidas it launched a Stan Smith model combined with a beer - Sneakersnstuff

Sneakersnstuff was created in 1999 by Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson, who opened a second shop in Malmö in 2005. A third venue was opened in London on May 30th, 2014.

The retailer has become one of Europe's go-to players, chiefly through its events and collaborations with brands in the streetwear world.
