Ted Baker opens at popular centre:mk
UK-based global lifestyle brand Ted Baker has opened a new store at increasingly popular centre:mk Milton Keynes shopping centre. The 2,150 sq ft store is located on Silbury Arcade, in close proximity to the Harrods H Beauty store, and stocks Ted Baker’s full range of womenswear, menswear and accessories under its banner “celebrating British fashion with a focus on the finer details”.
Taking inspiration from the brand’s prints and designs, the new store features a bespoke floral wall mural, while sustainable materials are utilised throughout “offering innovative design solutions to product displays”.
The opening is an important one for the up-for-sale fashion and lifestyle retailer which is still looking for a buyer since going on the block in mid-March. It ensures the brand is in the retail shop window and remains in expansion mode.
The retailer said the centre:mk location “complements Ted Baker’s strong international portfolio spanning the UK, US, Middle East, and Asia”.
And the new Ted Baker also reflects well on centre:mk, which has been one of the mall success stories post-pandemic, referring to itself as “one of the top 10 retail destinations in the UK”.
Its “curation of high-quality brands complements the varying needs of guests, 71% of which sit in the top eight Mosaic demographic groups, well above the UK national benchmark of 56%, with 86% of the total footfall converting to spend”, it said.
Kevin Duffy, Centre Director, added that the addition of Ted Baker is “further strengthening our diverse fashion offering. The brand’s commitment to delivering great guest experiences is a perfect match to our own guest services. The addition of Ted Baker to the centre is a great complement to our roster of reputable fashion retailers, which we are constantly evolving in line with our guests’ demands.”
